Bayreuther Wagner Festival

„Wagnerianer“, celebrities and curious onlookers make a pilgrimage to the green hill. When the 106th Bayreuther Festspiele were opened in the afternoon, there was an exceptional situation. Richard Wagner’s opera “Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg” is performed in a new production under the direction of the Berliner-by-choice Barrie Kosky.
